The traditional method of advertising requires paying large amounts of money to put your ad in front of people who may or may not want your product or service. You are paying for a non targeted audience.
With Pay-Per-Click advertising your ad only shows up to people who are looking for YOU. On top of this you are only charged by the Search Engine provider if your ad is actually viewed or “clicked”. Search engine traffic can be captured by small businesses at a small fraction of the costs required to place traditional advertisements.
